So this pretty much demonstrates Mulan's capacity to help out others along the way to her eventual success. In this way, Mulan mirrors Ariel.

Easy choice, she is the hero of China. She had saved China on her own and posed as a man to go to the war in place of her father. She is very gusty and brave. princesslullaby heroism is about saving others, not about badassery. Ariel sucks, she did not save others but she is getting votes as a heroine. No doubt Mulan is a heroine, she knew who she was, but concentrated more who she can be. She was not afraid of sacrificing her life and being injured, she saved China! She is definitely a heroine
