It depends on the princess. I credit Snow, Cinderella, and Aurora as being dutiful and obedient, but it does not make me think less of a character who can't fit with the rules of the status quo ( Mulan, Ariel, Poca, Merida, Rapunzel, etc.)

It's not a virtue in Sims Medieval.

It's a loaded question depending on what the rules are but generally speaking a virtuous person tends to be obedient to sensible rules.

Well, almost all my favorite disney girls are not obedient, but it's refreshing to see obedient princesses

But this isn't Sims Medieval.

Cinderella and Snow would have gotten a good lashing if they had spoken to their steps the way Jasmine or Merida did to the suitors/parents. Aurora didn't really have to be dutiful and obedient, but she chose to be, which was the right thing to do. Rebelliousness is mad overrated anyway.

but you have to take things in context of course.

No it is not as many of the Princesses are very rebellious but Snow White and Cinderella had no choice but to be obedient to their evil stepmothers.
