I'm pretty sure this counts as wisdom. I think Ariel is not wise at all most of the movie, but she has some wisdom in this area. I think it's similar to Pocahontas's wisdom.

No. People don't give her enough credit for the bit of wisdom about stereotypes that she does have. They only find her stupid. But though Ariel does make mistakes, a whole lot of other princess do, too--- and they aren't labeled stupid for it.
