i'm tired of girls not liking to act feminine, they all seem to want to be like boys nowadays and i appreciate how girly and womanly the princesses are mostly

This is the ideal for me, but I prefer the girly princesses to the tomboyish ones.

And all of them already are. Mulan and Pocahontas are NOT tomboys. Just because mulan disguised herself as a man that does not mean she is a tomboy. Girl does not mean sing, dance, and pick Berries all the time. All of them are feminine it is just that aurora is really weird.

Shanyu- YES! I don't mind people seeing Poca as a tomboy, though she isnt really, but Mulan? NO. She was an obedient daughter, was a gentle and modest person, liked her makeover. I think tomboys just want to claim her because they love her is all.

I dont know what you mean by Aurora being weird though.

There's nothing wrong with having feminine or masculine traits. I think the DP's are an even mix of both, whether they're mostly feminine like Aurora, mostly masculine like Pocahontas, or a nice mix like Ariel or Mulan. In general, it annoys me that so many people believe that femininity is an exclusive trait for women, and masculinity is an exclusive trait for men. I can wear pearls one day and a tie the next if I want, so can the DP's.

I like the princesses as they are...but I hate that the merch always emphasises the girly-girly ping glitter aspect.

I would love more in-between girls. They seem so hard to write for since one side (girly//tomboy) may be more liked than the other side.

I think they're a good mix of both. I feel like there's nothing wrong with being girly and feminine. What makes us girls if we're trying to act like guys? Don't get me wrong I'm a major feminist but I also think that should mean not being afraid to show your girly side if that's what you are.

With Swanpride! Can't describe how much I agree with her!
I think they all have good traits and I wouldn't want the princesses to be changed to be made less/ more feminine. They all are great characters just the way they are!

Besides, them all are girls so what wrong is to act like one? Is it shame to be girl if you have girlish personality? What I wish is that their personality wouldn't change.

It would annoy me if every single female Disney churned out was really girly, but I can handle just the Disney Princesses being like that, though I do appreciate having some less traditionally feminine ones in the franchise.
