^Me too. It's different for everyone but I hear a lot of love for the classic DPs. People forget the newer ones.

When I talk about Disney Princesses at collage people ask who are my favourites and I say definatly Ariel! & I also like Rapunzel and Mulan but usually as soon as I say Rapunzel people are like "No", "She isn't Disney", "She isn't traditional or real Disney", "doesn't count" and I'm like since when did you care that much about Disney?

Mainly because she's usually made the target of all the hate from those who try to make out the Disney Princesses as the ultimate enemy of any woman who wants her daughter to be independent, intelligent, or have any motivation in life to succeed on her own.

And Cinderella and Tiana.

@SweetPea2007: yes I've seen it a lot over the years (words to that effect anyway, I was paraphrasing). Cinderella and Snow White are both loved universally but I see a lot of hate/dislike for them too (from Disney fans and non-fans), it's possible to be both loved and hated at the same time. When people criticize the Disney Princesses as a whole, in my experience they will use Snow White and/or Cinderella as prime examples. Oh and the fact that you never hear much about Pocahontas doesn't = hate... that's just neutral/not caring.
