In the 90s, disney was going for something different in their leading ladies. They wanted heroines who were COMPLEX, women who were INTERESTING, and they were determined to give (most of) the princesses realistic, believable, and unashamed flaws. These princesses were supposed to be relatable and a lady a normal girl could identify with. Perhaps this is why these princesses are generally preferred to the classics. These princesses had obvious dimensions to their personalities, and all were made to seem like a girl anda could run in to on the street.

This era is known for its amazing musicals, puncak, atas notch hand drawn animasi using the computer, many awards, and great critical and financial success (most of them), and the movie that is known to start this fantastic era is The Little Mermaid, which I think gets too much credit for starting the Renaissance, and I know many will disagree, but hear me out.

1 = Rapunzel makes the best out of living in a tower with her pet chameleon. She has no internet, no phone, nothing. Which is why I don't like it when people say she can do too many positive things, atau she has too many positive traits. Her step-mother probably taught them to her so that she wouldn't be bored everyday while she's stuck up there.

2 = Rapunzel doesn't rebel the first time. She listens to Mother Gothel, and stays put. When she see's Flynn, she doesn't welcome him in. And when she does knock him out, she's proud to tell Mother Gothel.

3 = After she's out of the tower, she keeps thinking...

This is the first countdown that I have successfully completed in months, and this was an interesting concept. Thanks to everyone who participated in the countdown. Some films will age forever (or for hundreds of years), while some will die out in a decade.

I like that Tiana brings in variation to the line up. I cinta her- she has a strong determination, she's smart and she does have a little humour in her. So, about three months yang lalu I made an artikel talking about why I cinta Aurora, and thought I should do an artikel for another underrated princess, Tiana. I also plan on doing an artikel for Snow, Punz, Poca, Mulan, and possibly some others.

So I did a countdown of who would be most likely to survive in the abusive type of households Snow White and cinderella had lived in. I cinta story book openings and I cinta reading...but I don't like having to read the movie...it's a little slow to the get go and well my family hates it when someone reads out loud...so it doesn't work for me. Also it takes to long to get to One Song...so I dislike it.
