In the years I've been on Fanpop, I've noticed that Ariel is one of those characters that people either 'love' atau 'hate'. Honestly I'm the only person I know of who doesn't feel very strongly toward her either way. I guess I lean a tiny bit lebih toward the 'Ariel lovers' side because like her just fine, but I don't 'adore' her. But oh well no one is complete neutral. Anyway speaking from the perspective of semi-neutral party here is my opinion about Ariel's controversial behavior.

Anyone growing up in the 2000's (such as myself) who was a big fan of disney Princess has probably heard the song "If anda Can Dream". I like to refer to it as the disney Princess' theme song (at least, I used to, but we'll get to that later); it was a song that basically emphasized the idea that if anda wish upon a star, anything your jantung desires will come to you. I'll give anda valid reasons

1.) She shuts Anna out just to protect her

2.) She left her kingdom in order to protect her sister and everyone else

3.) She doesn't wanted to hurt anybody, but she has no other choice

4.) She created marshmallow to sent Anna away from her, because she accidently hit her

5.) She did not mean to harm Anna, she just can't control her powers

6.) Elsa berkata this "No, Anna. I belong here, alone. WHERE I CAN BE WHO I AM, WITHOUT HURTING ANYBODY"

7.) She felt terrible when Hans told her that Anna is dead....

OK, I berkata in a sebelumnya artikel that Elsa may be one of the most powerful characters in disney history and arguably as powerful as Maleficent. Well that got me thinking: What would happen if these two met in a fight?

Well quite honestly, I think this would be one of the most epic battles in the history of Disney. On one side, you've got Elsa, the Snow Queen; master of cryomancy and snow. And in the other corner, anda have Maleficent, the Mistress of All Evil, dark fairy. It's hard to say just who would get the upper can in a battle like this. 13. Rapunzel
She is very cute in a very childish way. Her eyes are enormous and her body is skinny. This makes her cute.She isn't beautiful which puts her down here. Her long blonde hair is very pretty. Her brown hair makes her look even cuter! Her smile is cute too. Everything is...SO. DARN. CUTE!!

Anna is also cute and even though I don't like her hair her smile, to me is very pretty. Her eyes are cute as well. She kind of looks like Rapunzel so I think that puts her down here. Who knows maybe she looks better in the movie? But until I see it (D:) she will stay in the cute zone.

A common complaint against Ariel is how she changes herself atau gives up her fins, family and world for a guy. This doesn't bother me too much since the film establishes that she desperately wanted legs and life on land even before she saw Eric. Just listen to "Part of That World."

That's not the focus of this artikel though. Another common criticism is how losing her voice and trying to woo Eric anyway sends a message to young girls that anda don't need to have opinions atau a personality to get a man. That all anda need is a pretty face.

I have two rebuttals for this argument.

So, I watched the movie, and my secara keseluruhan, keseluruhan opinion is that it is good........not great. I say this because while the characters are nice, and the songs, the story needs some work. There are some plotholes that are jarring, and the fact that most of this takes place in 24 hours is a bit problematic for me. Even the character development and the relationship building could have been better.

By the end of the disney Renaissance, layered characters weren’t enough. Now, the princesses had to be heroic as well. This is where Pocahontas and mulan come in. Have anda ever felt that anda were watching yourself up on screen when anda watch a disney Princess movie? I read this book called disney Girls It is about a group of friends who recognize themselves as special people that are like disney Princesses (they are one and the same). The disney Princesses here are Paula (Pocahontas), Yukiko (Snow White), Ella (Cinderella), Isabelle (Belle), melati (Jasmine), and Ariel (Ariel).

First of all, I don't own the book series. It was written oleh Gabrielle Charbonnet.

I know you're not surprised. I cinta her voice, I think it's very unique. But at the same time it can be extremely annoying. Have anda seen the official disney Princess website? Snow White's voice is ten times lebih annoying than it was in the movie. I like her voice but It's something I have to be in the mood for. Her best song is a Smile and a Song, I just cinta it.
