Comparison of the DE dance/love scene and SE cinta scene songs

I just felt like posting the differences between the songs that played when DE danced, kissed, then ultimately made cinta with SE's cinta scene music. I'll start with SE's first. The song is Cut oleh Plumb.

Notice how these lyrics describe finding relief through cutting oneself, pain, and feeling cold/alone. The musik in TVD is usually very telling of the situation atau mirrors feelings. This is not the typical kind of song that a person thinks would play during a cinta scene. It's too tragic in my opinion to be considered for the true cinta story of the show. I'll put up the song for DE's dance/love scene now. It's ciuman Me oleh Ed Sheeran.

Notice how THESE lyrics describe falling in love, finding warmth, and settling down. This song is lebih of what I picture for a good cinta scene. I especially cinta the verse: "From hate to love, from cinta to lust, from lust to truth" because do anda realize how fitting it is for DE's journey? ;) Elena started understanding Damon, but then he made a mistake and she berkata she hated him....through time they loved each other as friends and eventually it turned into desire. From desire, it's now turning into the truth in that Elena loves Damon. This is how I interpret it anyway, other people might take something different from it of course. It seems that Chris Mollere also likes using Ed Sheeran songs for DE scenes.

EllieLupin91 I remember I thought like this exactly when I heard "Cut" during the SE love scene. I really like that song, but I remember thinking it wasn't really suitable for a love scene. As for the DE songs, they all describe perfectly their relationship, and especially their journey. :)

delenasalvatore When I looked up the lyrics for 'Cut' on YT, I saw tons of comments from people which simply said 'Stelena'. And I thought: 'This song isn't about love, it's about pain. It's about self-harm and finding relief from hurting yourself.' I thought it worked for the scene, but it seemed a rather dark song for a love scene. I think a lot of SE'ers don't know the real meaning of it though. They see it as a love song, but it's not. Ed Sheeran's song on the other hand...'Kiss me like you wanna be loved' - it's perfect.

Elena loves to dance. Throughout the entire series, she's always going to dances, atau wanting to go, and each time, she has had to coerce Stefan into going with her. Even though Stefan knows how very much Elena likes to dance.

From the very beginning, with Vicki at the Boardinghouse, we see that Damon loves to dance to. I can't help but to make comparisons to Elena's dancing with Stefan to her dancing with Damon. So, I'm sure most of anda have seen the video from Comic Con this tahun in which Ian discuss' a possible Damon/Bonnie hookup. Are 'Vampire Diaries'' Damon And Elena The New Pacey And Joey?

On last night's totally intense episode of "The Vampire Diaries," poor Stefan (Paul Wesley) got stuck in a tomb with Katherine (Nina Dobrev) and made Damon (Ian Somerhalder) promise to protect Elena. Damon, of course, didn't hesitate to accept, and as he walked away, Katherine hissed that Stefan had made pretty much the biggest mistake of his life.

I didn't make much of what Katherine berkata until this morning when I realized that I've seen this happen before. No, not in my life (if only it were that exciting), but on another tampil that I used to literally run halaman awal to watch every week: "Dawson's...
