I cinta both characters. I may not agree with every decision he makes, but Damon is easily my fave character. I absolutely adore Elena and she comes in a close second.
I find her very underrated amongst the fandom and it’s perhaps because she has no supernatural powers (considering how nobody gave a shit about Caroline till season 2.) But I actually find her lebih interesting and lebih complex than someone like Katherine. This girl carries the weight of the world on her shoulders. She’s smart, brave, and has a jantung the size of Texas. I think mentally, she’s the strongest character on the show. All that, and we have yet to see her 18th birthday. There are aspects of Elena that we have not even begun to explore. She’s human and she’s going to make mistakes, but her jantung will always be pure. She’s sweet and kind, but strongly driven oleh passion. She’s a true heroine. We saw things from Stefan’s perspective in season 1 and Damon’s perspective in season 2. I’m hoping we see things from Elena’s perspective and lebih of her and who she is and is becoming in season 3.
Damon…oh my Damon. What’s not to love? “He kills people blah blah blah.” He’s not real and he’s a vampire, I don’t care that he kills people. There are many reasons why I cinta Damon, and they are the obvious reasons why everyone else loves him too. But I think what I cinta most about Damon is how much I can relate to him. I know that might sound odd, but there is something very familiar about someone who is not good at controlling their emotions; someone who messes up constantly; someone who feels alone; someone who’s jantung desires something out of reach; someone who wishes they could go back to being the person they used to be. I cinta my heroes and I cinta my villains, but there is something about the anti-hero that always has me rooting for them. Someone who’s goals are pure, but they go about things the wrong way. There is something very human about that and that’s why I can relate to him.
What’s most amazing though, is the combination of these two characters. They make me laugh, they make me cry, and they have me at the edge of my kursi with my jantung pounding in my chest every time. They are amazing as individual characters, but they’re truly spectacular together and that’s why they’re my absolute favorit pairing on this show.

I have this strange feeling that after Damon realizes that Elena has not died died loool ,and that she has become a vampire ,he will keep to the promise which he made stefan and leave mystic falls ,without meeting Elena,i mean think about it the fact that a scene has been created where meredith tells Damon about the vamp blood ect ect has been done for a reason,i dont think he will stay,i mean come on there needs to be a twist its vampire diaries,i dont think elena will wake up remember what damon made her forget and then they meet straight away,i think she will remember and oleh that time he will be ...
