Hi U2 Fans!
My name is Nicole, and besides being a rabid U2 fan, I am also working on a Ph.D. in Media Psychology. I am currently working on a social psychology project that will take a look at band/music subcultures and the individuals that belong to these subcultures. Obviously U2 has a universal draw with a very strong fan base and subculture. I am looking for some people who would be willing to chip in some ideas/thoughts on WHY they love U2 so much (I know...difficult, right? :)

I just want to know why you love them, how you got in to listening to them, what moves you about their music, and how listening to them/their music is different from listening to the band/music of any other artist.
