It was a drizzly hari in D.C. Booth was silent in the car as we drove to Marissa's funeral. Marissa was like a sister to Booth. He was a total wreck when he found out about her murder. When we finally arrived, Booth only berkata 7 words. "She is in a better place now." This funeral went like any other funeral. But in this funeral, Booth was crying. I had never seen him cry before. And when we could view the body, he only laid a rose on her coffin, not willing to look into the corpse's eyes. When we were walking in the cemetary,I pulled him to a stop.
"Booth, I do not think we should go back to the Jeffersonian. anda look like hell. I am sorry to say, but it is true." I looked in his eyes. He only replied with a sigh. Then we walked back to the car in silence, and the ride back was in total silence too.

I did not notice Booth was calling my name until he punched my arm.
"Bones? Bones? Tempe, are anda alright? I have been calling your name for the last 7 minutes."
"Sorry. I.... spaced out."
"But anda never luar angkasa out, Tempe."
"Apperently, I do."
"You know, this is giving me whiplash."
"So? Your attitude gives me whiplash. One menit your happy, the next, anda are throwing knives across the room." He stabbed a finger at me." I have never thrown knives at you." I looked at him impaintley. "I have only thrown knives once. And that was for an undercover mission!" He snapped at me. "You know what? I am ending this conversation."
"Do."
We did not get talking again until Booth's phone rang.
"Agent Booth speaking." He listened, and his eyes were wide open with...Horror. Pure horror. Like someone shoved a pisau right throught his heart. He shut his phone, his knees gave out, and he crumpled to the ground.
"Booth!" I screamed. Everyone was looking at us, but I did not care. "What is going on?!" He stared at me, and answered, his voice like the inside of a tomb. "The person who killed Marrisa is going after my family. He has Parker."

And for those hoping that Booth will be the one administering a little TLC to Brennan post-accident, don't hold your breath. It seems that Booth will be mostly MIA in this hour, and Agent Payton Perotta (Marisa Coughlin) will be the one taking his place as Brennan's partner. This has me thinking that Coughlin's sticking around for lebih than the one ep we were originally told about...
Thoughts? Think there might be a bit of tension/competition for Booth's affection between Perotta and Bones?"
