Blair & Chuck Article: Give the guy a break.

Spoiler warning. This is about the aftermath of episode 13.

I know we're all angry because poor Blair just had her life ruined. And we're offended because Chuck played the major hand here. But don't hate Chuck. Like the saying goes, don't hate the player, hate the game.

It's hard to expect anything else from Chuck. Its part of his character. Like the tampil conveys, Chuck and Blair are lebih similar than Blair would like to admit. They're both ruthless.

She shot him down, chose Nate over him. He gets even.
She only goes back to Chuck after EVERYONE ELSE deserted her. Why would Chuck welcome her with open arms? (as much as we would like to see).

It's too early in the tampil for Chuck to make a 180' in personality.

His reactions, though vicious and mean, were exactly what he would have made.

I think this really adds depth to their relationship. It's dysfunctional, I know. And in an interview with Ed W., he berkata anything can happen with those two. And also agrees those two are entertaining together.

I dunno about you, but I'm looking meneruskan, ke depan to when the tampil picks up again. And I'll still be hoping to see lebih B/C action! :D

jlhfan624 I have to say I totally agree!! I was going to write a soapbox about this but you beat me to it! I think mine will have much more anger in it so I might write it anyway!

pink_martini2 ha ha go get on that soapbox then! Tonight eppy was really good, had me yelling at Chuck so many times. ha ha "You idiot, stop being so stubborn!!" God, I love it! B/C are so much entertaining to watch than Dan/Serena. I mean they're cute together, but it's *snore* so boring.

Lila856 TOTALLY AGREE! i love chair! i still love chuck to bits even though the scene at the bar was SOO sad . blair only turned to him when everyone including JENNY shot her down so you know all i gotta say is loves chuck <3 & b too loves them both haha

duckey94 Great soapbox, it speaks the truth. I mean, if anyone (and I mean ANYONE, like even Jenny) had accepted her and tried to help her, do you think she would have gone to Chuck? Probably not. And that's sad. 'Cause I love them together.

greekgrl09 That is fantastic!!!! People were way worse to Blair then Chuck was *cough Jenny cough*. AND those people had no reason to get even with her. I can't wait to see how Chuck is with her at school when the new episodes come back. Cause we all know that when Chuck said those things to Blair was out of hurt and anger with the help of alcohol. They need to be together!!!! Even Ed and Leighton said they are meant to be because, and I quote, "it is like mixing fire with fire..... you never know they might come full circle." Then Leighton said "They are perfect for each other. He understands her like no one else"

AreYouSure I like how you put it. I expected Chuck to not take her back, and he didn't. I just wasn't prepared to hear it, I mean I wasn't like ready to handle those exact words. It hurt, I think it hurt Chuck as well to say that to her, Cause you see his face after Blair leaves the bar. Its endearing.

So, since the writers started smoking pot to help with their creative process, I've been seeing CB fan all over the internet complaining about how crappy the tampil has become. And don't get me wrong, I'm one of those people complaining about what a mess they've made. But lebih recently the komentar coming from some of these CB 'fans' have been annoying me. Some say it's times like this that bring a fandom together, but I don't think that's the case for CB fans. I think that this crisis has only served to tampil who the real fan are. And it's a little scary to me how few we are.
