Guys ... first and foremost i apologise for posting this artikel on Lancelot in the sacred spot of ARWEN. Lancelot of all do not deserve the place here yet I need to get a few issues of my chest and I need to confide. The only person I can think of are all of you, my friends ... anda all have a good jantung and will give a good explanation regardless the issue discussed is to your liking atau not. Which is why I seeked your council. Just hear me out first, yeah ...

I saw Episode 2 last night and I was moved. The performance all around were brilliant and frankly, I am not one who sheds tear easily but after the credits rolled, I found tears streaking down my cheek. Everything from the background musik to the sets and landscapes and the performances simply registered the episode as one of the best so far in my mind. Truly an unforgettable moment for me.

Speaking of performances, I was bowled over oleh Arthur, Gwen, Merlin, Lancelot, Aggravaine and the knights acting. Each one gave 100% confidence filled display which not only sated us viewers but themselves too. Neither overdid the other nor did they underperformed. Everything was perfect with a capital P.

Now, I know Lancelot has not gained entry into anyone's good buku since he was first introduced. Thanks to Thomas Malory, he was often seen as an adulterous than a chivolrous knight.I too felt he was a thrash ... until I saw Merlin. Honestly to speak, my pespective on Lancelot took a whole new turn after episode 2. Here, his past occurances have been redeemed and replaced with honour, loyalthy, honesty, friendship and humility. Gone was the twit and in came the nobleman. Thanks to the Merlin series, the character has been reimagined and refreshingly restored back to the state it should have been. Credits should go to where its due and in this case its the creators, directors and the producers of Merlin. Thanks to them, Lancelot whom once been thrashed and cursed is being shed a new light, brightly filled with respect and some dignity. I personally feel this is how the character should have been yet was not done so. But finally, some hope.

My point is, this is a new refreshingly admirable take on the series and the characters. And I think the creators are trying to put back the dignity and respect the characters have lost due to the revamped version some writers opted for in the past. But there are some ... sorry about this guys, morons out there on other sites, who simply do not understand the word 'reimagined' and opts for the thrashed version where adultery is a game, women are seen as nothing but an object of sex while men flirts with incest! This simply irked me last night as I noted how 'fans' wanted Gwen to choose Lancelot over Arthur, how Lancelot should have fought for her love, how Arthur should have noted her feelings for Lancelot, how the changes should never happen, why Lancelot has to die, why Gwen is addressing the court and etc ... COME ON!!! This is how it was before the legend was tampered!! Gwen is potrayed exactly how Guinevere was in the original writings, a symbol of holiness and beauty. There was no adultery then, neither did she cinta anyone except her husband the king!! Gwen is that symbol. Lancelot despite his cinta for the woman he met before she fell in cinta with Arthur is now a man of honour and loyal to his king. He wants nothing to do with Gwen anymore. Arthur on the other hand has cinta only for Gwen and wants nothing but revenge against his sister, Morgana. This is the truth, and the series is redefining these moments to tell us what's been missing yet, some just can't accept changes, can they? I am gutted! I was pissed and with the poignant scenes being played in front of me last night, i knew i have to get these annoying thoughts off me soonest. I just hope people could see where this series is heading to and absorb the knowledge it brings forth rather than crawl back to the cave they came from and cover themselvs with the same lie they've been exposed to for years.

I am sorry if my artikel here have offended many out there but honestly, there are a lot of people who still are in the dark of the true legend of Arthur and Merlin. Exposed to the lies the revamped version have produced, they simply could not accept the changes the series brings forth. But the changes will remain and accepting it atau not is a choice they will have to make.

So guys ... there anda go. I needed to confide and that I did. I didnt make Lancelot a hero neither will I ship him with Gwen. NO AND NEVER WILL!!! Gwen belongs to Arthur and him only. To quote Morgana, 'I'd rather drown in my own blood than to see that', my loyalthy will be with ARWEN!! I just felt Lancelot deserves some appreciation after being cast as a tramp for years. And after episode 2, he gains my respect as well. He wishes nothing but happiness for Gwen and confides he no longer loves her. And he died for Merlin; a friendship rarely seen in the buku but been brilliantly written in the series. Gwen cried for him because she felt guilty; and not because she loves him! Arthur felt sorrow because he lost a friend and a good knight and not because Gwen still has feelings for Lancelot!! End of story.
