I haven't met him, but I did see him in Rent when I saw it in Detroit.
He was GREAT!

I saw him and Adam in Denver and my mom asked me if I wanted to try the stage door, but it was 11:30, and I was on a SEVERE sugar crash.

Almost exactly a year later I still wonder how my memory of that night would have been different if I had said yes.

We met him when he was in Detroit and we're seriously some of his biggest fans. It was sorely disappointing when he was rude and would not even look at the people lined up in the cold. He kept his head down, refused to take pictures with anyone and stalked away.

This happened another night as well, when a friend of ours met him after the show.

Meanwhile the rest of the cast of Rent was friendly and warm. Adam Pascal's understudy was hugging people and taking pictures like crazy.

So we were a little saddened by Anthony's attitude but we still think he's a great performer.
