Best dubbs I've seen (& I am extremely picky about akting skills & the voice matching the height/weight/shape of the body).

*GetBackers.
*Slayers.
*Gensoumaden Saiyuki & Saiyuki Gaiden OAVs. (Reload & Gunlock have a totally different voice cast).
*Excel Saga.
*DNAngel.
*Princess Tutu (don't let the judul fool you, even guys watch it).
*Original Dirty Pair. (Goes good with Gunsmith kucing & Project A-Ko Versus Battle).
*Robotech.
*Orphan Revenge.
*Kino no Tabi (goes good with King of Bandit Ging & Eden's Bowey).
*Azumanga Daioh.
*Sakigake! Cramortie Highschool.
*Great Teacher Onizuka.
*Super Gals (The translations aren't accurate, but Mami's Japanese voice is annoying as shit).
*Jungle wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Goo (aka Hale + Guu) (The dubb is not bad, just not as funny as listening to Hale shriek in Japanese).
*Magical Play.
*Wandaba Style.
*Yu Yu Hakusho (The Japanese voices are 70% "wtf were anda thinking, using that voice on someone who looks like that?").


The bad dubbing actually makes it funnier:

*Yugioh Abridged (The voice akting gets better about 20 episodes in).
*Kyou Kara Maou.

Avoid the dub because it kills the humor:
*Lost Universe.
*Magic Knight Rayearth.

Bad dubs to avoid due to horribly ill-fitting voices atau insultingly bad accents.
*Hunter x Hunter 1999.
*Axis Powers Hetalia.
*Black Butler. (This one is ill-fitting AND badly accented).
*Gokudo-kun Manyuki.
*Ouran Highschool Host Club (allow me to be the first to disagree with everyone else.)

Baccano has the best dub.

I'm actually pretty much of a dub hater, for several reasons.

Despite this, Durarara has a really great dub, as far as I know. I sat through the first episode and had no real problems.

In a complicated way, one of its main genre is romance.
There's the cliche cinta triangle, (Mikado, Anri, Kida) the couple that are perfect for each other, (Shinra x Celty~) The person with a messed up idea of romance, (Haruna) etc.

I'd personally reccomend not looking at the fanbase first. Just jump into this series and see what surprises you'll get!
