This also applies to the manga. Say the anime stops in the middle of the komik jepang & the komik jepang carries on the story. Also applies when the anime & the komik jepang are not alike.

Examples:
*Can't verify this, but I hear Negima starts as a harem comedy & changes into an action tournament series.

*Shadow bintang Narutaru: Holy s**t did that get dark.

*Black Butler: Starts as a horror series with some comedy & plenty of ecchi. The komik jepang is currently a total sausagefest with amped up Ho Yay. Mangaka also seems to be parodying stuff like Richard Brown's "Titanic with Zombies" & Harry Potter.

*Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro: Starts as a mystery comedy. After then anime ends, the komik jepang switches into action horror.

*Any CLAMP movie is an alternate universe version of the series; Rayearth & X1999 especially.

*Excel Saga fan wanting less ecchi & lots of acak comedy would have been deeply disappointed oleh the manga.

lol my answer! I never thought I would hate every single character in an anime... the ending was satisfying but also messed up! XD

I know!! I only saw moments of the anime on YT so I had a basic knowledge of what it was about, but then I saw the movie and flipped. The tampil is amazing! The plot, characters... it isn't the average high school tampil and I cinta it. ^^
