Know anyway action/sort of horror animes?

i'm having trouble finding a new anime to watch,
i would like an action one atau something a bit creepy but not completely freaky with extreme gore although i don't care about blood, that doesn't scare me
the animes i have seen with this sort of theme are:

highschool of the dead
death note
code geass
hell girl
black butler
elfen lied
vampire hunter d: bloodlust and original
07 ghost
vampire knight
soul eater

its just i prefer animes with stuff going on and not just normal school life thanks :)

anda have to give Rin~daughters of mnemosyne a shot man. It's not based on school and it's kinda sexual and gorey. It's like a lebih extreme version of Elfen Lied. anda might not like it. this is extremely sadistic and violent with some yuri oriented content, It is an interesting story with likable characters if your open minded an not squeamish I also recommend this

the reason theres no english dub is because it just ended a few weeks yang lalu so it should be a bit longer before a dub comes out
