Okayz, i have 2 questions.

I don't really know what type of anime you're into (but since anda watched death note anda like stories with good plots!)
Pandora Hearts:
The main character Oz Vessalius has been cast into the prison known as the abyss on his coming of age ceremony. kuroshitsuji (Black butler):
Ceil Phantomhive is the heir to the Phantomhive name at only age 13. Follow the "Queen's watch dog" and his faithful buttler; who seems to be to good to be human...
and if you're into comedy...
Hetalia:
Ever wonder what the country's of the world would look like as humans? Well look no further; for hetalia is here! hetalia is a comedy anime that takes events from history and showed how they "actually happened"
And to awnser your detik question. Yes magna is the buku and anime is the cartoon. And if it helps anda to memorize anime is just short for Animation. Well I hope this helps ^^

In my opinion, Ouran High School Host Club and Lucky bintang are good anime series. But since anda like Death Note, anda may be a person into something like Soul Eater atau Inuyasha. komik jepang is the comic buku that anda read from right to left and anime is the show. Most anime are based on the manga.

but first: the difference between komik jepang and anime is that there are some things in the komik jepang that cannot be found in the anime.

try watching code geass. its like death note but cooler! xD (for me)
there's also vampire knight, maid sama, shakugan no shana. etc

the Animes I personally like are Axis Powers Hetalia, kuroshitsuji and Ouran High School Host Club. The ones with the same atau alike genres with Death Note is Kuroshitsuji, Soul Eater, Bleach and Hitman Reborn. Try those first.

komik jepang is the book that anda read from left to right. Like the typical book, but anda read it backwards. komik jepang is usually the origin of the anime version anda watch. The anime usually changes some parts of the komik jepang so I suggest anda read the komik jepang first.

anime is short for the word Animation. So basically for it to be Anime, it needs to have at least one shot of Animation. As long as it has Animation, it is called an anime for the Japanese.

I cinta death note too it's pretty good and has a good plot. So does vampire knight it has ALOT of action and romance. Also naruto is good but it is very common Also anime is like the shows on tv and komik jepang is the books
