Why dose simon have new glasses?

Ian wanted Simon to wear these "cool" new glasses instead of his "boring" old glasses. But then Simon couldn't see and he fell off the piano... poor guy... :(

The glasses were diberikan to him oleh "Uncle Ian" in an attempt to make him look alat pendingin, pendingin when he performed. They weren't very effective as they were too thin for him to effectively see out of.
