Anybody seen 'The Song Of Lunch' yet?

So what did anda guys think about it? I have no idea what to think...I mean, I loved it, but it was definitely something else :D I think I will have to watch it few lebih times, especially the end to really understand it. Not that I mind of course :D Oh and I totally cinta the fact that Alan was also a narrator :)

...and a big plus was Alan being the narrator as well... I mean it was like a 50 min. Alan-symphony to me ;D

Yeah, I've seen it and it's brilliant! Great atmosphere, but I also found the ending a bit strange. The man he recognizes is the owner of the restaurant, isn't he? But I don't know why this is so significant to make the very last and abrupt-ending scene. Maybe it's to emphasize the changes and transience of everything, which is a main-theme in the poem, because the owner has become so old frail?

it's probably it... from the loud, full of life Massimo to sad, old, forgotten man... everything changes, nothing lasts forever and maybe if anda don't take care of yourself, you're going to end up pahit and old?!

I totally adore it...yes, it was a little predictable... but I did'n care!!! I really loved that this poem was transformed to a small narrative piece.
Emma was good, and Alan was awesome... I loved the way he lost control of himself because of all the wine & the overcoming memories!
Would be awesome if BBC decides to put it on DVD. I'm so gonna buy this!!! ;)

...and of course Alan looked hot as ever! ;)

It was awesome, my new favorit poem and not just because Alan reads the whole thing.
