Are Crowns (and the people that wear them) in the land of Ooo better for it atau worse?

just wondering... does a crown benefit the wearer atau does it ultimately lead to there corruption and downfall... take all crowns and their wearers into consideration please... also use evidences AND predictions... such as in the case of Bubblegum and Slime Princess...
does it benefit the wearer to be diberikan there power (either politically atau mystically)of a crown?
does it benefit the people around the wearer?
{and try to use someone other than ice king (i know he's the easiest to do) in anda description... just want to see how in depth anda can get on this analysis...}

Ex: With LSP, I don't think her crown even holds power. She's lives in a suburban halaman awal and attends a normal high school. She doesn't have the responsibilities of normal princess would.

Ex2: With PB, she rules an entire Kingdom and does government business. Plus, she lives in a kastil, castle with guards and is loved oleh her subjects.

To answer your pertanyaan I'd say it depends on each Monarch and the amount of responsibility they hold as a princess.
